Summary:
Rosabella has had a son from the archduke of
Austria, Massimiliano.
Victoria, his wife, not having sons, induces the archduke
to kidnap the child and to keep him as their legitimate heir. But
the boy has a brother, a twin. Rosabella, persuaded by
Alberto (Maurizio Arcieri), a young Hungarian patriot who
has been the great love of her life, decides to escape abroad with
the boy, since Victoria plots to kill her.
The two try to leave Baviera heading to Paris. During the travel the
explosion of the french-prussian war threatens to upset their plans.
Rosabella decides to pass the lines nonetheless.
But someone watches over them and, at a certain point, asks
Rosabella if the boy is her own.
Riassunto:
Rosabella ha avuto un figlio dall'arciduca
Massimiliano d'Austria.
Vittoria, la moglie di lui,
non avendo figli, induce il marito a sottrarre il bimbo alla madre e
a farlo passare per loro legittimo erede.In realtà Rosabella ha avuto due gemelli, uno solo dei quali le è
stato tolto. Rosabella, indotta da Alberto
(Maurizio Arcieri), giovane patriota ungherese che è stato il grande
amore della sua vita, decide di fuggire all'estero con il bambino.
Vittoria infatti trama perchè la rivale sia soppressa. I fuggiaschi
frattanto tentano di lasciare la Baviera diretti a Parigi.
Durante il viaggio lo scoppio della guerra franco-prussiana minaccia
di sconvolgere i loro piani.
Rosabella decide di passare ugualmente le linee. Qualcuno però la
sorveglia e a un certo punto le chiede, chiamandola per nome, se sia
suo il bimbo che ha in braccio.
